Sugar Free Dessert Challenge

Are you a diabetic person, if yes... I know how much you crave for sweets, desserts, ice creams and many things that has sugar in it. I know how a tea without sugar would tastes like. But here I’ve a good news for you. Now you needn’t worry about your sugar intake but crave your sweet tooth by replacing sugar with all the new Sugar Free Natura. It gives the same taste as you would get by adding sugar plus without any worries.

Today I’m going to share a really wonderful dessert recipe – Anjeer Basundi, that is sweet enough to crave your sweet tooth and that too without sugar. I’ve replaced it and added 2 table spoons of Natura Sugar and believe me the taste was awesome. In fact you cannot make out a difference.

This recipe uses simple list of ingredients all available in your pantry plus it is very easy to make.

Please find below the ingredients and the method of making Anjeer Basundi

Ingredients required:

1. Anjeer / Fig - 1 cup, finely chopped and soaked in little milk

2. Low fat milk - 750 ml + 1 tbsp

3. Vinegar - 1 tsp

4. Corn flour - 1 tsp

5. Natura sugar - 2 tbsp

How to make Anjeer ki Basundi:

In a heavy bottom pan, bring milk to boiling point. Lower the flame and add vinegar drop by drop while stirring continuously, so that tiny curdled particles are seen (do not add all at once, as we do not want big lumps to be formed). Simmer for around 10-15 minutes

Then add finely chopped Anjeer and mix well. Mix corn flour with 1 tbsp of milk and add to the milk anjeer mixture. Keep stirring so that no lumps are formed

Add Natura Sugar and stir. Simmer for around 10 minutes and switch off the flame

Garnish it with a piece of Anjeer, and serve either warm or chilled

Hope you liked it and will try out this simple and delicious recipe in your kitchen soon.

I’m going ahead and will create many more sweet and dessert by using Natura Sugar and giving a way to healthy life.
